Julius Aghahowa, 19, is one of Nigeria's big hopes at the 2002 World Cup.

So it is somewhat of a surprise that he is playing for top Ukraine club Shakhtar Donetsk.

His talents were noticed first by Tunisian club side Esperance, a team he helped to the domestic title and the Africa Champions League final.

He was picked up by the Ukraine side in a multi-million pound deal in 2000.
