Sodje commits to Crewe
Efe Sodje
Sodje was linked with a move to Numancia
Nigeria defender Efe Sodje has said he will stay with English club Crewe Alexandra despite his World Cup exploits.

Sodje played in two of Nigeria's three matches, and fitted in well alongside the likes of Jospeh Yobo and Taribo West.

But Crewe were relegated to England's Division Two last season, and speculation linked him with a move to Spanish club Numancia.

However, Sodje said he would be staying at Gretsy Road.

"The World Cup was great while it lasted but now it is back to business withCrewe," Sodje told the club's official website, www.crewealex.net.

"We were all disappointed to be relegated and are aiming to bounce straightback."
