Arsenal's Nigerian striker Nwankwo Kanu has admitted that he will be struggling to be fit for the
start of next season for the Double winners.
The Nigerian missed his country's 0-0 draw with England in the World Cup qualifier in Osaka with what he described as "a very, very serious" leg injury.
He added: "I have to go back and check it out and see how serious it is.
"But I would definitely say that I would be out for some months. All my leg
is swollen and I cannot walk.
"I could be struggling for the start of next season. I have to go back and
have treatment. It is disappointing."
