Kanu 'out for months'
Nwankwo Kanu battles with Diego Simeone for the ball
Kanu's World Cup has ended miserably
Arsenal's Nigerian striker Nwankwo Kanu has admitted that he will be struggling to be fit for the start of next season for the Double winners.

The Nigerian missed his country's 0-0 draw with England in the World Cup qualifier in Osaka with what he described as "a very, very serious" leg injury.

He added: "I have to go back and check it out and see how serious it is.

"But I would definitely say that I would be out for some months. All my leg is swollen and I cannot walk.

"I could be struggling for the start of next season. I have to go back and have treatment. It is disappointing."
