One half of the anticipated Kashima Antlers strike-force at their home event, Suzuki has profited from having Atsushi Yanagisawa as his partner in attack.

Yanagisawa, despite being a year younger, has already notched up twice as many appearances as his club and international team-mate.

But, while Yangisawa relishes the role of provider as well as striker, Suzuki is much happier facing up to goal.
