Filippo Inzaghi
Club:AC Milan
Position:Forward

Inzaghi joined Milan from Juventus last summer and is still regarded as Italy's best goal poacher.

He does not have the power, presence or speed of Christian Vieri or Alessandro Del Piero and is more in the Gary Lineker role, getting himself into the right place at the right time.

He is a wily forward with an excellent awareness around the box, making him difficult to man mark.

At Juventus he had an excellent strike rate, scoring 44 League goals in his first two seasons in Turin.

Before he joined Juve he was with Atalanta for whom he was Serie A's top scorer in 1996/97.

Inzaghi started four of Italy's games at Euro 2000 and scored against Sweden and Romania. However, he started on the bench for the final against France.
