Rudi Voeller
Rudi Voeller
Position:Coach

A legend as a player, Rudi Voeller became manager of his country with virtually no prior coaching experience.

Voeller initially took over on a caretaker basis after the embarrassing first-round Euro 2000 exit under Erich Ribbeck.

But a year later he was installed as boss in a permanent role.

Now 42, Voeller began his playing career in 1977 with SV Stuttgart Kickers.

He was capped 90 times for his country, reaching the World Cup final in 1986 and winning it in 1990.

He also reached the European Championship final with his country in 1992.

Voeller finished his playing career with Bayer Leverkusen in 1996.
