Not short of experience at club level but has not had many chances behind Alvaro Mesen and Erick Lonnis for his country.

The 29-year old did deputise against the USA in qualifying, and showed he will not let anyone down.

He also made a brief substitute appearance in Costa Rica's friendly with Colombian club side America de Cali in February.

Is unlikely to get further than the bench this summer but is solid enough if called upon.
