79 mins: Spain's Juanfran is stretchered off the pitch after falling awkwardly on his left ankle.

76 mins: Slovenia's Djoni Novak is replaced by Sasa Gasjer.

73 mins: Spanish coach Jose Antonio Camacho replaces Luis Enrique with Ivan Helguera.

70 mins: This time it is the turn of Spain's Javier De Pedro to test the keeper from outside the area. Marko Simeunovic saves well.

68 mins: Sebastjan Cimirotic's shot from the edge of the area takes a deflection off defender Carles Puyol but flies harmlessly over.

66 mins: Spanish striker Diego Tristan is replaced by Fernando Morientes. The substitute nearly scores with his first touch but is unable to beat keeper Marko Simeunovic from close range.

64 mins: Slovenia's Sebastjan Cimirotic is booked for diving after collapsing theatrically in the penalty area.

62 mins: It proves to be Zlatko Zahovic's last contribution to the games as he is replaced by Milenko Acimovic.

60 mins: Miran Pavlin is fouled by Spain's captain Fernando Hierro. Zlatko Zahovic is unable to find any of his team-mates with the resulting free-kick.

57 mins: Spain's Diego Tristan cuts in from the left but his shot is well saved by Marko Simeunovic in the Slovenia goal.

55 mins: The first substitution of the match as Slovenia's Milan Osterc is replaced by Sebastjan Cimirotic.

49 mins: Full-back Juanfran Garcia crosses from the right but can't find either Raul or Diego Tristan.

47 mins: Djoni Novak sends an early ball from the right flank in the direction of Spain's penalty area but is unable to find Milan Osterc.

1330 BST: Spain get the second half underway. There are no half-time substitutions from either side.

1315 BST: Whistle blows for half-time.

32 mins: Midfielder Ruben Baraja leaves his foot in on Miran Pavlin as Spain begin to look frustrated at their lack of chances.

24 mins: Slovenia's playmaker Zlatko Zahovic tests Spain keeper Iker Casillas from outside the area, but the keeper makes a comfortable save.

4 mins: Both teams look nervous and both are sloppy and wasteful when in possession in these opening five minutes.

2 min: First corner of the match goes to Slovenia. Zlatko Zahovic whips in a near-post corner and Aleksander Knavs' close range header is saved well by Iker Casillas.

1230 BST: Slovenia get the match underway.
