Leboeuf sinks brave Koreans
Seol Ki-Hyeon puts Korea 2-1 up against France in their World Cup warm-up match

South Korea 2-3 France

France ended their World Cup warm-up campaign with a morale-boosting victory over co-hosts South Korea.

But the world champions were made to battle hard by the Koreans, who were unlucky not to come away with a draw after a fast-paced and entertaining game.

Frank Leboeuf's well-taken winner two minutes before the end handed victory to France, who had been 2-1 down at half-time.

Striker Thierry Henry seemed untroubled by his knee problems and played for the first 45 minutes.

But France were given a new injury worry when midfielder Zinedine Zidane limped off halfway through the first half clutching his thigh.

The World Cup favourites took the lead after 15 minutes with an acrobatic volley from David Trezeguet only to see Park Ji-Sung equalise with a well-taken strike from the edge of the box.

South Korea went ahead when Seol Ki-Hyeon headed home from close range when completely unmarked at a free-kick.

But second-half substitute Chistophe Dugarry levelled for France before Leboeuf struck as the final whistle approached.
