All the action as it happened as Brazil beat Turkey 1-0 in their semi-final in Saitama.

90 (+4) mins: Referee Kim Milton Neilson blows the final whistle. Brazil will now play their first World Cup match against Germany in Sunday's final.

90 (+3) mins: Ilhan Mansiz heads over from nine yards.

90 mins: Hasan Sas is booked for an ugly lunge at Edilson. The fourth official holds the board up showing that there will be four minutes of extra time.

89 mins: Rivaldo greedily shoots when other players were better placed.

88 mins: Yildiray Basturk is withdrawn, attacking midfielder Arif Erdem taking his place.

85 mins: Kleberson is stretchered off with cramp and Belletti comes on for his first appearance of the finals.

81 mins: The otherwise poor Hakan Sukur almost hook volleys a brilliant equaliser but Marcos saves.

80 mins: Denilson finds himself in a two-on-one situation but rather than pass to Luizao he tries to lob Rustu Recber. His shot drifts over the crossbar.

79 mins: Ilhan Mansiz's cross-cum-shot almost sneaks into the Brazil net but Marcos tips the ball over for a corner.

77 mins: Ergun Penbe limply slices the ball when well positioned to knock a dangerous cross into the Brazil penalty box. This lack of composure is costing Turkey at crucial moments.

75 mins: Brazil make their second substitution - Denilson coming on for Edilson.

74 mins: Muzzy Izzet replaces Umit Davala to make his first appearance of the finals.

72 mins: Brazil continue to create chances. Luizao acrobatically volleys Cafu's cross but his shot hits the ground and bounces over the crossbar.

69 mins: Luizao almost latches onto an incisive through ball but Rustu Recber is quickly off his line and clears with his feet 25 yards out of his goal.

67 mins: Luizao replaces Ronaldo. It a straight swap - a striker for a striker. The goalscorer leaves the field to generous applause from the crowd, who are largely supporting Brazil.

62 mins: Ilhan Mansiz - who scored his team's golden goal against Senegal - replaces Emre Belozoglu.

61 mins: Kleberson's thunderous drive is hit straight at Rustu Recber, who saves the shot.

59 mins: A Roberto Carlos free-kick smashes into the wall and almost breaks to Edilson, but Rustu Recber just collects ahead of the Brazilian.

58 mins: Edilson receives an exquisite threaded ball from Ronaldo but just as he is about to shoot Fatih Akyel crucially steers the ball out for a corner. Brazil are starting to exploit spaces at the back as Turkey push forward.

56 mins: A deflected cross from the right almost loops over Marcos but the Brazil goalkeeper tips the ball over for a corner.

49 mins: Ronaldo scores an amazing goal - his sixth of the tournament. He receives the ball down the left channel and dribbles into the opposition penalty area. Surrounded by Turkey defenders, he toe pokes the ball early with his right foot. The shot takes Rustu Recber by surprise, who gets a hand to the ball but cannot prevent the goal.
Brazil 1-0 Turkey

46 mins: The second-half begins with Brazil on the attack as they attempt to break the deadlock in Saitama.

45 mins: Referee Kim Nilton Neilson blows for half-time. As the players head down the tunnel pushing and shoving continues with Ronaldo again involved.
Half-time: Brazil 0-0 Turkey

45 mins: Rustu Recber just cuts out a low Roberto Carlos cross with Ronaldo lurking. The ball seems to be heading to Edilson but again Recber bravely saves. The goalkeeper is injured and as he receives treatment a scuffle involving Ronaldo and Bulent Korkmaz breaks out. The referee calms the situation down and play continues.

43 mins: Roberto Carlos breaks at pace but his shot is straight at Rustu Recber, who easily saves. Brazil are increasingly menacing in attack.

40 mins: Turkey win a free kick on the edge of the Brazil area but Emre Belozoglu shoots over the crossbar. Gilberto Silva is booked for pulling Yildiray Basturk's shirt.

35 mins: Rivaldo's brilliant long-range effort is tipped out for a corner by Rustu Recber.

22 mins: Ronaldo lays the ball off to Cafu, who could play a simple square pass but opts to shoot from a tight angle and forces a good save from Rustu Recber.

20 mins: Fatih Akyel's superb left-footed cross is glanced goalwards by Alpay Ozalan. Marcos makes a brilliant save to prevent Turkey taking a shock lead.

8 mins: Turkey are stroking the ball about with ease - and seem to be deliberately testing Roberto Carlos' defensive ability. Brazil have yet to find any fluency or rhythm.

1230 BST: The second semi-final begins in Saitama with Turkey's Hakan Sukur kicking off.
