Motty is not just about keeping you in touch with scores and news.
He will also watch you attempt one of the most basic football skills - and comment on whether you are any good at it!
You can play Keepy-Uppy by selecting this option from the right-click menu. The idea of the game is very simple.
Click OK to play, CANCEL to return to the desktop and normal Mini Motty operation.
When you enter the game, your normal desktop, plus any windows that you currently have open, become your playing field.
The aim is simple - keep the ball off the bottom of the screen for as long as you possibly can.
Motty will occasionally make an encouraging noise or two, while you attempt to beat your best previous score.
See the scoreboard for details of your current score - and the best score in that session of Mini Motty.
You will not be able to click on any icons on your desktop, since the game effectively takes a snapshot of the background to work with.
But if you need to look at another window while playing, you can get there by pressing Alt+Tab together.
The game will pause in the background. Use Alt+Tab to return and click anywhere on the screen, while getting ready to catch the ball again!
Getting help
You can also get help on Keepy-Uppy by clicking the ONLINE HELP button on the scoreboard. This will pause the game and open this web page.
If you came here via that route, and want to return to the game, close this web pags and click on the screen to return to your game.
Exiting the game
When you have finished playing Keepy-Uppy, click on the exit game button and then select Yes.
If this happens while playing the game, and you accidentally click the button instead of the ball, select NO and get ready to catch the ball quickly!
Right-clicking
We appreciate that you might be used to using the right-click menu on Motty, so you can also access Online Help and Exit Game by right-clicking on the Motty figure during the game.
