Motty has two types of actions - ones that are determined by events such as goals or new news stories and others that are simply there for amusement.
The good news is that you can see any of them, at any time, via the right-click menu.
Start commentary: Motty puts on his headphones and pulls a microphone from his pocket to announce the start of a game.
Kick ball: Motty places a ball and kicks it off screen before announcing a goal.
Celebrate: Another "goal" action from Motty - watch him leap up and down in delight.
Booking: Out comes Motty's yellow card
Half-time: Motty blows the whistle and enjoys a meat pie
Punch air: The third action when a goal is scored
Sending off: "Real trouble" this time - it's a red card.
Full time: Motty wraps up the match and blows the final whistle.
News alert: Motty checks the football news to announce a new story.
Walk: A quick stroll across the screen. To stop this happening, select Don't Move
Dance: Motty struts his stuff to his favourite tune - the legendary theme for BBC Sport's Match of the Day programme.
Don't move: If you select this option a tick will appear alongside it - and Motty won't move around and distract you from other important tasks.
Rattle: The traditional football accessories from days gone by.
Motty online: A more modern piece of equipment comes out as Motty reminds you to stay in touch with BBC Sport.
Motty skills: Motty shows that anything you can do in the Keepy-Uppy game, he can do better.
