Namibia really shouldn't have been here.
A more stringent weeding out process needs to be established ahead of the tournament, because although they had their moments, they were few and far between.
They reached a peak against England who put in a dreadful performance.
The Burger brothers were on song that day, Jan-Berry Burger hitting a solid 85.
But they didn't quite hit the right notes against anyone else and were thumped, not least by Australia who racked up all sorts of records.
Namibia will have learnt from the experience and will look to reap the rewards, with improved performances in the South African domestic one-day tournament in which they play the priority.
However, at this level they were not good enough to compete and that's something the authorities need to address.
