Bangladesh were simply terrible.
You cannot have teams in world cricket that are a laughing stock and they need to pull their socks up.
They are the team that leave South Africa with the most to do, having achieved the least.
But for the rain that resulted in an abandoned match against the West Indies, they would be returning home without a single point.
I firmly believe they were given Test status too early and their desperate campaign was certainly not good enough for a Test-playing nation.
It's not their fault the authorities made that decision, but it is their responsibility to unearth some players and quickly.
They'll be attractive players if they get it right, but at the moment they have no discipline, as was shown against Sri Lanka when their great cross-batted swipes in the opening over only went to show they were clueless.
