Centurion, South Africa
Centurion itself is just south of South Africa's administrative capital of Pretoria and also lies just 60km and forty minutes' drive from
Visitors should consider basing themselves in either of these
cities rather than in Centurion, and taking transport to the city for the game.
For those who decide to base themselves in Pretoria, the city has a far more relaxed feel than Johannesburg and its hotels, eateries and sights are all relatively close together in the city centre.
If you do stay in Centurion or stop in town after the game, then make sure you see Centurion Lake with its hundreds of dazzling lights and fountains synchronised to music after dark.
The town itself is based around the lake, its associated shopping centre and the Supersport Stadium, so navigating Centurion itself is not difficult.
The ground is rated as one of the best in South Africa to watch cricket as grass embankments make up a large portion of the general admission areas and lend atmosphere to an otherwise unatmospheric modern stadium.
