Australia v New Zealand: Over by over

Latest: Australia 208-9 (50 overs) beat New Zealand 112-9 (30.1 overs) by 96 runs

Brett Lee produces some breathtaking pace bowling to pick up five wickets and maintain Australia's winning streak.

Reduced to 84-7 earlier in the day as Shane Bond takes 6-23, the holders post a defendable total after Andy Bichel and Michael Bevan share a stand of 97.

Stephen Fleming (48) is the only New Zealand batsman to pass 20 as they are swept away by Lee and Glenn McGrath.

31st over: Lee digs in a short one and Bond miscues an attempted pull, giving a return catch which ends the game.

30th over: It is now a question of how long New Zealand can survive but Harris opts to take a single off the first ball, exposing Bond to Hogg's wrist spin. He takes one to mid-wicket to keep the strike.

29th over: Last man Bond comes out to face Lee and manages to jab down on another ferocious yorker.

29th over: Harris keeps out Lee's hat-trick ball and pushes into the covers for a single, but a wayward throw gifts him two more. It brings only momentary relief as a brilliant yorker shatters Adams' stumps.
New Zealand 108-9

28th over: Harris is joined by Adams, who is pinned down by Hogg and unable to open his account.

27th over: Oram's first ball is his last as Lee, bowling round the wicket, hits the top of off stump.
New Zealand 104-8

New Zealand 104-7

26th over: Hogg teases the batsmen with a mix of chinamen and googlies, conceding only two from the over.

25th over: Fleming brings up New Zealand's 100 with a quickly taken single. The New Zealand captain's innings ends softly as he tickles a Lee delivery down the leg side to Gilchrist. New Zealand 102-6

39th over: Adams loses his grip on the ball and Bichel hammers a double-bouncing delivery for six.

38th over: Harris delivers a full toss but Bevan is content with one to deep mid-wicket. Bichel takes an easy single to long on.

37th over: Adams is back into the attack with Fleming looking to wrap up the Australian innings. He gets away with a long hop as Bichel miscues to mid-wicket.

34th over: Harris is right on the spot again with his over yielding only a single.

33rd over: Bevan forces Vettori away off the back foot, but it only brings him a single. Bichel late cuts for four to take the total past 100.
