Past World Cups: -

Right-handed batsman

Australia-born Sinclair wasted little time in making his presence felt on the international stage.

He has already made two Test double tons, scoring 214 against West Indies in 2000 and in doing so equalling the highest score by a number three batsman on debut.

His second double century came against Pakistan in 2001.

At one-day level, he has an average of just over 27 with two centuries to his name.

His highest one-day score of 118 came against Sri Lanka in April 2001, just five days after hitting Pakistan's bowlers for 117.

However, he also has a large proportion of ducks to his name.
