Another member of India's young guns, and another with a bright future ahead of him.

He made his debut in the ICC Knockout Trophy in 2000 against Kenya.

Yuvraj failed to make an appearance with the bat but he bowled four overs and was impressive in the field.

And then an 84 against Australia in 80 balls proved to the world he was a promising talent.

However, his honeymoon period was very short, and after a poor run of form, he was dropped from the squad for Australia's tour to India.

Since then he has had notable ups and downs.

Great knocks against England, Zimbabwe and the West Indies in recent series have been offset by a poor return in the run-up to the World Cup in New Zealand.
