Craig White
Born: 16/12/69
Team: Yorkshire
ODI debut: 6/12/94
Past World Cups: -

Right-handed batsman
Right-arm medium-fast bowler

White's stop-start career is a consequence of a catalogue of injuries.

On song he is a valuable addition to any side as he showed in 2000 when he figured in all but two of England's 21 one-day internationals.

However, since then he has only played sporadically as injuries and ailments again took their toll.

The Australian-raised Yorkshireman can bat anywhere in the line-up but is mostly seen striding out at number seven.

And with the ball in hand, he has the valuable asset of being able to take vital wickets, being called on by his skipper to break a doughty partnership.

White is playing in his first World Cup, having missed out on selection for the 1996 World Cup, despite figuring in all the matches in the preceding series, and 1999.
