Craig McMillan
Craig McMillan
Born: 13/09/76
Team: Canterbury
ODI debut: 20/05/97
Past World Cups: 1999

Right-handed batsman
Right-arm medium bowler

McMillan is one of New Zealand's prinicpal batsmen and has been a key member of the team since 1997.

Batting in the middle-order, he scored just 10 on his debut in a contest Sri Lanka won by 52 runs, but things have since improved.

He made his Test debut later that year against Australia, when he scored 54 in his first innings before falling for a duck in the second.

The Canterbury player has scored five tons and nearly 20 half-centuries in Test cricket.

At one-day level he has two tons to his name and scores his runs at a speedy rate.

He is also very useful at one-day level and he has been used to bowl at the death but comes into the World Cup in moderate form with both bat and ball.
