As the oldest player in the team, the 43-year-old Louw has a wealth of experience in the game.

He has been a tremendous influence on Namibia both on and off the field and stepped in several times as player-coach.

The right-hander has been widely credited with contributing towards Namibia's dramatic improvement over recent years.

He has become a guiding light to the younger players and helped many of them reach their potential.

Louw also likes to set an example on the field and, despite his senior years, can still hold his own in competition.
