Daniel Keulder
Danie Keulder
Born: 2/8/73
Team: Windhoek Wanderers
ODI debut: -
Past World Cups: -

Right-handed batsman
Right-arm off-break bowler

A solid opener, Keulder is a veteran of the Namibian side, having competed since the 1990s.

Popularly known as Danie, one of the highlights of the 29-year-old's playing career has to be his fantastic display during the 2001 ICC Trophy in Canada.

The strongly built right-hander's impressive batting performances, including a magnificent 104 in the all-important Super League fixture against Scotland, helped Namibia qualify for a first World Cup.

His leadership qualities have also been in evidence during a period in which Namibia have made fast progress in international cricket.

Despite skippering the side to success in Canada, Keulder has handed on the captaincy duties to team-mate Deon Kotze, preferring to concentrate on his own game.
