Ifill has been in and out of the national side ever since he helped Canada to a six-wicket win over a touring Bangladesh side in 1996.

He took four wickets in the match and scored an unbeaten 41.

He also starred for the national side in the seven-wicket win over Bermuda at the Americas Cup quadrangular tournament in 2000.

Ifill plays in the middle-order and is a good medium pacer.
