 Post-competition verdict: The Welsh woman has dominated her sport for a decade and brought disabled athletics kicking and screaming into the public attention. Having only recently given birth to a baby daughter, Grey-Thompson struggled to keep up with the pace of her rivals on the track. In her only event – the 800m – she finished fourth and just out of the medals. With better preparation she looks capable of recapturing her track best.
