Bangladesh have appeared in four Games since their first in 1978 and sent 25 athletes to Kuala Lumpur in 1998.

They have won two medals, both in shooting and both in Auckland in 1990, where the menís air pistol team took gold and the free pistol team took bronze.

Did you know?
The national sport of Bangladesh is Kabaddi, a cross between wrestling and rugby - with a touch of British Bulldog.

It has been played for over 4,000 years and involves attack, defence and counter attack Ė as well as a great deal of chanting.
