Lesotho have entered six Games in all, only missing one since their first in 1974.

So far, only one medal has come their way, and that was in Kuala Lumpur.

Thabiso Moqhali ensured the team of 21 did not come home empty-handed, winning the menís marathon.

The slopes of the Mahlasela in Lesotho are one of the few places in Africa where skiing is possible.

The whole country, which is completely surrounded by South Africa, has an altitude of at least 1,000m and is part of the Maluti mountain range which is shared with its larger neighbour.
