Mark's career as a broadcaster began with BBC Radio Foyle in 1992.

Worked as a print journalist with the North-West edition of the Belfast Telegraph before moving full-time to BBC NI 10 years ago.

Is a keen hurler and played with the Glenariffe Ossian's and still turns out for the Bredagh club in the Co Down league.
