Following his success in 1980, Cousins turned professional, producing a number of hit ice shows and TV specials.

Also a TV commentator, he has made theatrical appearances in shows such as Cats and The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

He performed his last ice show in 2000 but continues to be a successful choreographer for other skaters.
