Cink took the last automatic qualifying spot
Cink was once heralded as one of America's brightest prospects.

He was twice named USPGA Tour Rookie of the Year early in his career.

His big moment came at the 2001 US Open where he finished a creditable third and picked up a sizeable cheque for over 325,000.

However, things have not gone so well in 2002, having missed the cut on many of the PGA Tour events he has played in.

At 6ft 4ins, Cink is one of the tallest players in the game.
