Stage 17
Day 19 of the Tour is bound to be hogged by the sprinters, desperately relieved to be back at the front of the peloton for the first time in an age.

History
Tom Steels was the king of the quick pedallers in 1999 when the Tour last finished in the heart of the wine country.

Stage winner
Servais Knaven got the better of a lengthy breakaway to ruin the sprinters' chance to return to glory.
