Brad Hogg

Brad Hogg
Left-arm off-spin bowler
Left-handed batsman

Born: 6 February 1971
State: Western Australia
Test appearances: 1
Debut: v India 1996

Following Shane Warne's shoulder injury, Hogg has been drafted into the squad for the Sydney Test.

The track is renowned as a spinner's paradise and the 31-year-old will be licking his lips at the prospect of doubling his tally of Test caps.

His debut came in 1996 in a team from which the only other present day survivors are Steve Waugh and Ricky Ponting.

He has more experience at one-day cricket where his variety and sharp fielding either side of the wicket are a valuable asset to the team.
