Veteran boxing coach and fundraiser Ben Geyser has been awarded this year BBC Sports Unsung Hero accolade.
The 70-year-old set up Dorchester Amateur Boxing Club in 2003 and is involved in coaching, raising funds for the club and charity events.
"I'm overwhelmed - I'm beyond words," said the Weymouth resident, who was presented with his award by Phil Neville and Ian Rush.
"For this to happen to a person of my years is fantastic."
Ben, who was the BBC South winner, along with the other 14 nations and regions winners, will be eligible for a £2,500 bursary.
The bursaries are intended to benefit and further the work each Unsung Hero has been doing to help sport in their community.
It is up to each Unsung Hero to put together a proposal for how the money might best be spent.
This proposal will be considered by a grant panel, which will assess it to ensure it is capable of demonstrating a measurable impact on the Unsung Heroes sporting work.
Examples of things the bursary might cover are sports equipment, construction/repair of facilities and/or court, pitch or venue hire.
The bursaries cannot be used for administrative costs, social events, holidays, salaries or hospitality.
