Celebrities turn out for Sport Relief

Sport Relief has sprinted back into the nation's consciousness after a star-studded launch in Trafalgar Square.

Chris Evans, Davina McCall, Patrick Kielty, Kirsty Gallacher and Zoe Lucker were among the stars giving the event their backing.

All the celebrities agreed on one thing - absolutely anyone can go a mile for Sport Relief.

So why wait? - sign up now and be part of the biggest mile in history.

Davina said: "Anyone can do a mile and everyone should - Sport Relief Saturday is going to be fantastic.

"You can do it pushing a baby or pulling a dog - with your friends or with workmates.

"No matter how you decide to do it the really important thing is that you just do it!"

Last time out 81,000 people poured into parks and stomped streets across the country - and this time we want even more people to Go The Extra Mile for Sport Relief.

Davina's co-host Chris Evans was also encouraging people to sign up on the Sport Relief website.

"There are miles taking place right across the country so absolutely everyone can get involved - and then when you get home you can turn on your telly and have a look at yourself!"

Patrick Kielty was also keen for you to get involved, and emphasised the fact that you don't need to be super fit.

"It's going to be a great Craic on the day and whether you're a proper runner or just a proper out-of-breath running for the bus merchant like me, you can be a part of it and raise some much needed cash while you're at it.

So what are you waiting for? Sign up now and go the Extra Mile for Sport Relief!
