Eddie Butler
Eddie Butler will be reporting for Rugby Special throughout the series, bringing his own blend of humour and experience to the show.
Eddie started his playing career with Pontypool in 1976 and later played for Cambridge.
His talent was quickly noticed by his country and he went on to enjoy a career with Wales from 1980 to 1984, during which he won 16 caps and captained the side.
He recalls one of the highlights of his career as beating England 24-15 at Twickenham in 1984.
Off the rugby pitch, Eddie first worked with the BBC 16 years ago at BBC Wales and now enjoys a successful career as rugby commentator for BBC Sport.
Eddie's opinion is also well-respected in print as well as across the airwaves - he has been the Observer's rugby correspondent since 1991.
