How to get there by road

Finding your way to Wimbledon by road can be a confusing business - BBC Sport Online brings you the full guide.

From the M4:

From junction 4b, follow signposts to Gatwick M23, then keep right to join M25.

Leave M25 at junction 10 (signposted London SW A3) take first exit onto A3 at roundabout.

At A3 Malden Junction (A2043) follow local signs to Motspur Park.

From the M25:

Leave M25 at junction 10 (signposted London SW A3) take first exit onto A3 at roundabout.

At A3 Malden Junction (A2043) follow local signs to Motspur Park.

From the M1:

At Staples Corner J1, follow signs for North Circular Road A406, The West.

At Hanger Lane Station (underpass/gyratory roundabout), follow signs for Kew Bridge (A205) to ascend Hanger Hill.

At Chiswick roundabout, take the third exit (signposted South Circular Road).

At Kew Bridge Station bear left and cross Kew Bridge, then at traffic lights bear left.

At traffic lights at the junction with the A316 Richmond Road go straight on.

At traffic lights at the junction of the A305 Sheen Road, turn left along Richmond Road (A205).

At junction with A306 Roehampton Lane, take left-hand lane at traffic lights bear left over crossroads and take first right turn (signposted Guildford) and right again at traffic lights onto A306.

At Roehampton Lane (A3) junction turn right onto A3, then at Robin Hood roundabout (A308 junction) bear left.

Stay on A3 until Malden junction (A2043) and follow local signs for Motspur Park.

From the M3:

At Junction 2 (M25) branch left and follow signs to Gatwick to join M25.

Leave M25 at junction 10 (signposted London SW A3) and take first exit onto A3 at roundabout.

At A3 Malden Junction (A2043), turn and follow local signs to Motspur Park.

From the M20:

At J1, branch left and follow signs for Gatwick to join M25.

Leave M25 at junction 10 (signposted London SW A3) and take first exit onto A3 at roundabout.

At A3 Malden Junction (A2043) turn and follow local signs to Motspur Park.


Car parking

On street parking is not permitted in any of the roads around the All England Club during The Championships.

Any vehicles illegally parked will be removed by the police.

Car Parks 6, 7, and 10 offer some unreserved parking to the public. Car parks 1 to 4, 5 and 8 are reserved.

There is a park and ride service from the BBC Sports Ground in Motspur Park, entrance in Blakes Lane.

The car park opens at 8am. The shuttle bus service to the grounds is free of charge and takes about 15 minutes.

Parking for motorcycles is available in Car Park 4.

Parking for minibuses is available in Car Park 4 and at the BBC Sports ground in Motspur Park.

Car Park 5: (entrance in Church Road) 0630
Car Park 6: (entrance in Church Road) 0700
Car Park 7: (entrance in Church Road) 0700
Car Park 8: (entrance in Church Road) 0800
Car Park 10: (entrance in Wimbledon Park Road) 0730
Park and Ride: (entrance in Motspur Park) 0800

Car Parks 6, 7 and 10 are independently run and charges may vary.


Taxi Services

Taxi services to the grounds operate throughout the Championships from taxi ranks at Southfields and Wimbledon stations.

Taxis back to local Underground stations and to other destinations operate from Church Road (outside Gates 4 and 5), and from Somerset Road (outside Gate 13).

During peak times, taxi sharing is encouraged.


Coaches

No setting down or picking up will be permitted in Marryat Road and parking will be prohibited on Wimbledon Common.

The police will only allow setting down in Somerset Road near the entrance to car park 4.

It is the responsibility of coach operators to advise their passengers of the picking up point, which will be inside car park 4 next to the coach park.

No charge will be made after 1630 BST; prior to this time normal parking charges will apply.
