Caroline Wozinacki believes her performances at the Liverpool International Tennis Tournament could help her at this summer's Wimbledon.
The 17-year-old Dane was crowned ladies singles champion for the second time in three years at Calderstones Park over the weekend.
The former Junior Wimbledon champion told BBC Radio Merseyside: "I would wish to win the main event this time.
"You never know if it's possible. I'm just going out there to try my best."
Wozinacki beat US star Ashley Harkleroad 4-6 6-4 10-5 (super tie-break) in Sunday's final.
"The first year [2006] playing against a top-100 player was a big thing for me. Now I'm one of the highest-ranked players."
The pair have contested the final of the Liverpool International for the last three years, with Wozinacki winning twice.
The current world number 32 revealed that she may return to Liverpool to defend her title next year.
"I think so, it's also been different for me from year to year. The first year [2006] playing against a top-100 player was a big thing for me.
"The second year it was a bit different as I was the defending champion and now the third year I'm one of the highest-ranked players.
"I think the tournament has become better and better every year."
