Murray & Mirnyi stun Bryan twins

Jamie Murray and Max Mirnyi Jamie Murray picked up his first title with new partner Max Mirnyi - and the fourth of his doubles career - with a shock win over the Bryan twins.

Mirnyi and Murray beat Americans Bob and Mike Bryan 6-4 3-6 6-6 (10-6) - five time Grand Slam title winners - at Florida's Delray Beach International.

Jamie Murray won three titles last season with American Eric Butorac but has been struggling for form since the pair split following last year's US Open.

He joined up with Mirnyi, who has 33 doubles titles to his name, at the start of the year.

"We'll be together next week in San Jose and hopefully we can do the same thing," said Murray.

"When we lost to the Bryans in Sydney it was only our second match together so we were still feeling each other out, and we didn't play as well as we did this week, where we got better with each match."

Mirnyi added: "We expected a pretty full stadium and it was great to see the crowd show great support for the doubles final."
