Davenport to make singles return
Former world number one Lindsay Davenport will return to playing singles after almost a year when she appears in Bali in September.
"I've enjoyed the tournament in the past and feel it's the perfect place to begin playing singles again," she said.
Davenport, 31, who has won three Grand Slams and an Olympic gold medal, quit the tour last year with back trouble and has since had her first child.
She recently announced she will play doubles with Lisa Raymond in August.

Also scheduled to play at the Bali tournament, which starts on 10 September, are world number three Jelena Jankovic, Daniela Hantuchova and Patty Schnyder.
