Serena & Venus pull out of events
Australian Open champion Serena Williams and her sister Venus have both withdrawn from WTA events next week.
Serena was scheduled to make her first appearance since winning her eighth Grand Slam title last month at the Bangalore International.
"Serena failed to board the flight to Bangalore because of a bad flu," said tournament organiser Sunder Rajan.
Venus pulled out of the Diamond Games in Antwerp with the wrist injury that has prevented her from playing in 2007.
