British number one Andy Murray will play Spaniard Alberto Martin in the first round of the Australian Open, which starts on Monday.
Murray, seeded 15th, has been placed in the same half of the draw as second seed Rafael Nadal but away from Roger Federer and Andy Roddick.
Murray lost 6-4 6-4 to Roddick at the Kooyong Classic on Friday.
Federer begins his title defence in Melbourne against German Bjorn Phau while Nadal faces Robert Kendrick.
Last year's surprise runner-up Marcos Baghdatis opens his campaign against Rainer Schuettler.

In the women's competition, French defending champion Amelie Mauresmo meets American Shenay Perry in the first round.
Top seed Maria Sharapova faces France's Camille Pin in her first match while three-time former champion Martina Hingis meets Nathalie Dechy.
Serena Williams takes on Italian Mara Santangelo as she attempts to rediscover the form that saw her win the title in 2003 and 2005.
Justine Henin-Hardenne, who retired from last year's final against Mauresmo, has withdrawn from the tournament for family reasons.

Should Murray beat world number 60 Martin in his opening match he will meet another Spaniard, Fernando Verdasco, or France's Paul-Henri Mathieu in round two.
Argentina's Juan Ignacio Chela, the man who beat Murray in last year's first round, or 17th seed Jarkko Nieminen are likely third-round opponents, followed by a possible last-16 clash against second seed Nadal.
But Murray is not looking past his opening match against Martin.
"All matches in Grand Slams are tough," said the 19-year-old. "He's obviously a very fit guy.
"You know, one of the advantages of getting seeded is that you don't have to play one of the highest ranked guys in the world in the first couple of rounds, so I'm looking forward to the match.
"I'm sure it'll be tough in this heat but I feel like If I'm playing like I have been, you know, the last few weeks, and I can work on a few things I didn't do so well today, hopefully I'll be playing well going into it."
Murray added: "I know his game well, I've watched him play quite a lot of times, like I watch most guys, so I know it's going to be a tough match.
"All the Spanish guys are in great shape, so the heat probably won't be a problem for him.
"It's up to me to try to use my sort of all-court game against his baseline game to my advantage."
