Wickmayer comeback plans on hold
Yanina Wickmayer has been told she is
not eligible to play tennis despite her
doping ban being suspended by a court
injunction on Monday.
The International Tennis Federation
(ITF) said as far as it was concerned
bans on Wickmayer and fellow Belgian
Xavier Malisse still apply.
They are out "until we receive further
communication to suggest otherwise,"
said ITF spokesman Nick Imison.
He said they were waiting to hear from
the Belgian anti-doping authorities.
