Four games called off in Scotland

Rangers' Ibrox Stadium The SPL game between St Mirren and Motherwell has fallen victim to the wet and stormy weather that has pounded the country this week.

A 1000GMT pitch inspection found parts of St Mirren Park unplayable, a scenario repeated at Queen of the South's Palmerston Park.

But Rangers hosted Dundee Utd after Ibrox passed an 0830 inspection.

The First Division fixtures at Airdrie and Dingwall had already been called off on Friday.

Airdrie's match with Dundee fell foul of the weather, while Ross County's match with Hamilton was postponed due to illness in the Accies squad.

Cowdenbeath's game with Peterhead survived following a pitch inspection on Friday afternoon.

But Arbroath's match away to Dumbarton was abandoned at half-time with the home side 1-0 ahead.
