Scrum V people - Gwyn Jones
Get to know the team who make the Scrum V show...
How did you get into it?
After a shoulder injury in Australia I was out for a while, and during that period Radio Cymru asked me to do some commentary for them.
After my neck injury I started working for S4C and Eurosport.
I have also written columns for The Times and enjoy doing this kind of work.
During the Rugby World Cup in 2003 an opportunity came up to work for Scrum V, so I took it.
Best and worst moments
My best moment was when I captained Wales against the All Blacks at Wembley, and my worst moment was nine minutes later, being 21 points down!
A great moment for the media was commentating on the Rugby World Cup final in Cardiff in 1999 with David Kirk.
Advice to anyone hoping to reach the top
You have to be single-minded and determined and understand that you have to prioritise in order to reach your goals.
What is the one thing that you would still like to do?
Not upset any more people!
