Stephen Ferris has a knee problem

Stephen Ferris and Clinton Schifcofske are in a race to be fit for Saturday's Heineken Cup away trip to Harlequins.

Ferris is suffering from rib injuries sustained in the defeat against Stade Francais at the weekend while Schifcofske has a knee problem.

Ferris was due to have an X-ray on Monday, while Schifcofske will see a specialist to ascertain the extent of the damage to his knee.

"We will allow the players 48 hours to recover," said coach Matt Williams

"Their injuries will be assessed then."

There was alos a scare over prop BJ Botha, who was forced off with a calf problem, but that was believed to have been caused by cramp.
