Sale Sharks have been boosted by the return of New Zealand lock Kristian Ormsby after nearly 12 months out with a serious knee injury.
The 29-year-old had a short run-out in the Sharks development side's 33-13 win against North Wales on Tuesday.
It was the former New Zealand Maori and Chiefs player's first appearance since being injured against Worcester.
He is now in consideration to feature in the LV= Cup tie against Newport Gwent Dragons on Friday.
