Centre Bishop given Sharks trial

David Bishop

Sale have taken injury-plagued former Ospreys centre David Bishop on trial.

The 25-year-old made his comeback in September after three years out with a knee injury and was a shock name on the Ospreys' released list in May.

The former Wales Under-21 international played six times last season after returning from the horror injury.

Sale director of rugby Kingsley Jones said: "He is looking for a fresh start and if he does well with us we may sit down and talk to him about signing."
