Leicester spoiled the start of Shane Williams' testimonial year as the Tigers beat his Ospreys side in a pre-season game that doubled as a benefit.

A Toby Flood penalty and then the conversion of Will Hurrell's try put the Tigers into a 10-0 lead.

Ospreys replied as scrum-half Rhys Webb dummied to go under the posts, but Matt Smith's try restored Leicester's lead.

Lock Andy Lloyd went over to give the Ospreys hope, but Flood's boot and a late penalty try moved Leicester clear.
