Leicester skipper Martin Corry says his side are desperate to make the most of their "lucky" break when they face Gloucester in the play-offs on Sunday.
Last weekend's last-gasp victory over Harlequins, coupled with Sale's loss, saw the Tigers sneak into the fourth and final Premiership play-off spot.
And Corry told BBC Radio Leicester: "We've got lucky, we've got a second chance and things could go our way now.
"The first box has been ticked but when you achieve something you get greedy."
Leicester hopes looked slim heading into last weekend's final league fixtures.
But Sale's defeat by London Irish threw the Tigers a play-off lifeline and guaranteed them European qualification next season.
Corry added: "We're not sitting back thinking we've qualified for Europe so our season's over.
"We are looking to go to Kingsholm, produce our best rugby and win the game."
And Corry is no doubt, despite a season of inconsistency, his side have the ability to cause a shock.
"Gloucester have without doubt been the form team throughout the Premiership season.
"But we have already been down there this season and won. And we will take confidence and heart from that and have the knowledge that we are a very difficult side to beat when we produce our best rugby.
"It's all down to the day. It doesn't matter how consistent they've been and how well they've been playing, it's all down to this one game and we'll be looking to go down there and ambush them."
Coach Marcelo Loffreda agrees, insisting that previous meetings and talk of pre-match favourites will have little bearing on the outcome.
"They are the best team at the moment," he said. "They have a strong team and a lot of confidence but it depends what happens in that 80 minutes and not before.
"Leicester always expect to have a win. Common sense says that we are the underdogs but maybe many people are not thinking on that way. Many expect us to win even if we are not favourites.
"Last weekend was a big boost and now the Premiership is in our hands. We have a great opportunity."
Fly-half Andy Goode praised his side's resilience in the win over Quins and says they need more of the same against Gloucester.
"People said we had no chance but we always believed and in the Premiership anyone can beat anyone - bar Leeds pretty much.
"As players we sat down and said whatever anyone else is saying we believe in each other and the will to win came out from the players.
"We've got to be on top of our game, they are the form team. It's key for us to dominate possession, defend well and play smart rugby. And that's not just kicking to the corners and playing dull rugby
"If you want to attack from your 22 and it's on to go, you do it.
"We go to Gloucester with confidence and a nothing-to-lose attitude. I don't suppose many people will give us a chance of beating Gloucester so let's go there and beat them."
