Short pens extended Bath contract

Peter Short

Bath forward Peter Short has signed on at the club for another two years, extending his stay until at least the end of the 2010/11 season.

The Liverpool-born 29-year-old plays at lock or in the back row and has made more than 70 starts for the club since joining from Leicester Tigers in 2005.

"Short plays to his absolute maximum each time he takes the field," said Bath head coach Steve Meehan.

"He always seeks improvement in his game and is a very hard worker."
