Centre Hape ready for Bath debut

Shontayne Hape

Bath's new centre Shontayne Hape will make his first team debut against Edinburgh at the Rec on Friday.

The 26-year-old New Zealander has joined Bath after spending five years with Super League side Bradford Bulls.

Hape played for Bath United at Redruth last Saturday, and his inclusion is one of six changes to the team that beat Llanelli 24-16.

Bath start their Premiership season with a local derby against Bristol on 7 September.
